why aren't there more NFT projects funding their operations from % yield from 'NFT mint' yield-generating treasuries vs. getting large sums upfront? as long as team delivers, they get paid by community that sees results. no progress? no more crypto for y'all. embrace skin in the game. deliver.

Like the idea, but I just don’t think that’s enough to sustain a team. If you’re moderately successful with a total mint value of 500 Eth, at 4% yield you can’t even pay a single salary

feel your concerns. besides leveraging yield-generating strategies, there's an open design space for 'commitment x consistency' funding mechanisms. ie. teams raising funds in ICO style, yet funds are locked and vested as long as the team delivers, with governance mechanisms increasing positive outcomes and letting communities have tangible action power.
