Here are the actions I launched today on day #1 of actions: 1) DEGEN Stats to check allowance of cast author, 2) Count DEGEN tips in thread, 3) Make Me Smile - receive short messages to make you smile, and 4) Tip onchain - receive a reply with a frame to tip cast author onchain

does it validate if it was a valid tip / the tipper had the allowance for it?

yes that's the one...yeah I agree on the complexity.  Hopefully tip validation is something we can do or is built it...would be good if the cast wouldn't submit if they didnt have the allowance.


Which one? Do you mean "count degen tips"? No, it doesn't validate them. Given the limited APIs available, it would be impossible to completely verify each tip. But it should be possible to at least check if a user has zero allowance and not count their "tips" in those cases...
