I wonder if that hurts the lycopene, my chem prof said that molecule is the reason tomatoes stain plastic Tupperware, and not to worry about the staining. Cus the lycopene molecules are similar to cholesterol, they have a long chain end that can insert into gaps in flexible materials like plastics (cholesterols do this in cell membranes and keep the stretchy)

They were advertised recently as a big anti-aging treatment too
