The Swarm by Frank Schatzing. It’s hella long, but a really great book.

I don’t want to give it away, but let’s just say the ocean fights back at man for his abuses 😉. What I like about it is that the science in it is actually pretty accurate, so it’s not so sci-fi that it’s unrealistic.
