ok i might actually upgrade MBP 14" M1 Max -> M4 Pro/Max

my rig is plenty zippy but i do find myself squinting at the dark sometimes

I just upgraded from the m1 to the m3pro a month ago. Its night and day difference. like not even comparable.

Ok yeah nevermind. I misread your cast. I went from a fucking  M1 AIR with 8gb ram to MBP m3Pro - so you can disregard my experience as proofpoint. NGL im suprised how well that m1 8giger held up with all the adobe I was running

but did you find the m1 slow at all? i had to get my battery replaced so i had an m3 pro for a minute and it seemed a little zippier at opening things, but not a must buy relative to m1 max 64gb ram which remains fast af
