Hot take: when on the subway commute in nyc if there are two seats in between two people I feel like I am the good guy by taking one for the team and sitting in the middle of two seats. Sure it may make one (maybe two) people upset, but the two people next to me are extremely comfortable with their extra space. Am I the hero or the villain?
