WR - depending on formation but was Z. Then played slot or Y for trips.

Very cool! My son is transitioning from QB to WR this year. He was a damn good QB. Qualified for the high school national combine as a QB and really showed out there. But everyone wants a 6-3 QB and he’s not getting there. Had some smaller school offers at QB, but thinks WR gives him a better chance for PT.

I love that move for him. I was a QB when I was young, but as I grew older and the offensive schemes we ran my talent was better utilized as a WR. The qb position is so fucking competitive. I wasn't on the same level of your son but sounds like hes a stud and could probably play any position he wanted.

Very cool man. Yeah. It’s super competitive. He lives in a football hotbed which makes it even more competitive, but it’s also good for exposure as his county gets scouted heavily. Random suburban county you’ve probably never heard of that has 85 kids playing D1 right now
