A place to talk about New York on Farcaster

This week was my first time back in NYC since 15 years ago when I was a kid. Manhattan feels a lot less intense than I imagined it. Not that many cars, standard levels of noise for a city, lots of padestrians but not enough to really overwhelm the sidewalks - thought it wouldn’t be my vibe but I kinda like it

The new congestion pricing for cars has actually helped downtown manhattan with car traffic. 

Also, the news/media only shows the extremes. Cheers
