GM, Nounser, This week, I created a piece combining Noun 1168. The inspiration comes from some patients with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), commonly known as Bubble Boys or Bubble Girls. Due to genetic defects from birth, their immune systems are extremely fragile and cannot fight off any infections. As a result, they must live in sterile environments like health pods or clean rooms to avoid contracting deadly pathogens. These health pods also mean they cannot leave their homes for years. Using such patients as a prototype, I attempted to create a surreal and fantastical world. Noun 1168 lives in an oval-shaped health pod with built-in flight capabilities, allowing Noun 1168 to travel around the world and experience various wondrous forms of life.🫡
