Did you know that Apple will block your ability to download any apps if your card you pay for Apple subscriptions with gets declined? My phone doesn’t work as expected because I can’t afford it. When the Biden timeout is over I’m going back to google.

V interesting. I read something a while back that they'll also lock you out of existing services. Seems like their real muscle is collections. Pixel user for a long time and v happy. Google is also leaps ahead on AI over Apple.

I haven’t seen or experienced full lockout, but the phone is definitely crippled. I loved android, and Apple software is dogshit, I’m ready to go home

Pretty wild, and kinda surprised I don't hear about this more often. A lot of based engineers on X were lambasting Apple the last few months with how there's so many advancements in tech because of AI, yet Apple remain stagnant. I'd be surprised if this continues. come on home Devin ; ) Follow this dude, his team has been shipping faf and he pays attention to based devs asking for things in public. Siiick 🙏 I think for this one it’s hidden because people don’t feel like they can signal being broke and not have it cause them some network / social capital problem. I don’t have that problem since I’ve nuked any chance I’d ever have of raising money from people, but if I wasn’t all in on revenue, I don’t know that I would have shared this either
