Revshare tokens will prove to be one of crypto’s most powerful token unlocks… once they are legal and not considered securities. Having ownership of a network or a token should be valuable and not just a t-shirt that proved you love the band.

100% agree. Are there any examples of networks/founders/projects that are discussing this topic and caught your interest?

It’s come from multiple conversations I’ve had with projects launching utility tokens but only really comes up in conversations about what is not allowed in the greeter design space of a token. Sharing actual revenue with its owners is off limits.

Hmm yeah this needs to change. Feels like it could be a massive unlock for a variety of legitimate incentive models. Stocks pay dividends to shareholders for profitable companies why can't we have onchain cryptidends for the same?! We've come a long way and learnt a lot since some early nft projects got shut down by OpenSea (not their fault) for paying holders distributions from earnings. Added to the brainstore of build this with a back-door pathway for when, not if, it becomes legal. Probably just a matter of time tbh.
