The more I cared about the sleep score, the worse my sleep got—it felt like I needed to perform well. It’s kind of a trap. As soon as I stopped checking the score and just let myself sleep, things improved straight away. But yeah, even then, I’d sometimes wake up feeling well-rested and still see a low score.
