1. How did I discover Farcaster? First I discovered nostr second half of 2023 and was hanging there for some time but it didn't stick, barely any designers and very opinionated devs and people in general. Then on twitter I randomly noticed there's another protocol, but it was invite only or something. About a month later I had many disagreements with the vision for the agency I worked at for 4 years at that time (pixel-1.com) and decided to quit, which was a tough decision to make, but I saw the potential of crypto, was looking into network states and decentralized social media as a result. That was the time I decided I should try something new and farcaster opened sign ups, I think it's been a bit over 10 EUR at that time to sign up and I haven't been sure about doing it lol, but here we are. I tried to do twitter full time at first but it given me very little for a lot of effort and I'm not interested in posting engagement farming and sales content to grow there. 1/4

3. What am I working on? Consolidating all of my farcaster/onchain and freelancing experience under /basedstudio - Working on a simple website for the studio, about 40% there but scope is not that big. - Wrapping up a mobile app design for a friend I signed up a year ago already (our second app already). - Recently paused work for https://dinosave.co/, another indie project I've started with a dev friend a year ago. - Building farcaster/base native job board as my own side project. - Engaging with people on farcaster to learn about their products and trying to be helpful in giving ideas and with feedback. - Going for bounties and other quick design help until studio is up. Will still do those but probably less of it or only the most fun/valuable projects. 3/4

2. Top 3 Design Career Highlights Under pixel-1.com I got to work with, what feels like, every kind of company, team, leadership. From large corporations to teams of 4-5 people shipping products at light speeds. Once, in about 6 months, I was able to ship a mobile app for drivers, a chrome extension for consumer, a landing page with a raffle, internal dashboard for store owners for one product idea founder had, multiple editions of investor deck to push it. Another time, one of our clients sold to Shopify for $2.1B, I was heavily involved and worked with the CEO directly with my partner (we were just 2 designers for over 2 years since I came in). But we didn't get anything and the founder didn't had a big % as well but enough to start a new company. But I guess the biggest highlight so far is me quitting that agency, since I had a deep understanding of the business we were in and also what I personally want, which values to align with and reclaim my freedom. 2/4
