I think uniswap enabling multichain selection was a choice made too early

it's slower and a lot harder to select the asset you want to trade now and now you see all the fake ones from all of the chains if you search, not only yours, on the dropdown

also the best UX would be with session keys - I trust uniswap but have to still review and approve and confirm multiple txs for every new token I'm swapping

I think it got better recently yeah, I’ve been mostly giving CA address anyway and after that update getting a bit scared since same contract address can be deployed on another l2 for example? or is that unlikely 

so in the end I don’t like the experience where I don’t see the chain I’m transacting on upfront

I’m mostly transacting on base and if not I always want to specify the chain, I think we’re not yet at the place where we can select tokens to swap regardless of the chain

and with uniswap here, you can only swap a token for another on one chain, not across ones right

so that single select for every asset on every chain seems like extra calculations and more room to make a mistake or confuse things

max - would love to hear more about what tripped you up with the new flow. Do you think you'd like to have network filters more prominently exposed?

Also, try searching again, we had a bug where "bad" search results were showing up at the top of search results. I'm curious if our fix has improved thins at all for you.
