How many people actually reach out and ask how you‘re doing? Everytime I stop asking folks to just see who‘d reach out themselves it’s an interesting experiment Back in school if you missed days you got letters, calls, messages. Out of school -> „adults“ don’t seem to care? Maybe part of why people are calling a loneliness epidemic? Darn it just ask people how they are doing and check in.

in US culture people been just asking it as a habit not to actually know what’s up been my experience

but here on farcaster rarely do it unless something triggers it like an update or something in the cast trigger is the default behavior I think but reaching out proactively is like a job or you have to like it, time consuming but gets you places and lands deeper relationships
