this is a new user deterrent; i’ve talked about this before too would be good to wipe the bots from follower counts what would you think if you were new here & saw an outsized number of accounts with 50,000+ followers getting 1-5 likes per post? you’d think this place is a ghost town

would you consider accounts that were active at some point and later moved from fc to ct as bots? it’s tricky because not all inactive accounts are bots, but cleaning up the follower lists could definitely help showcase real engagement here

i think this a good solution, tho no idea on the practicality of the implementation hide all accounts inactive after x days https://warpcast.com/baseddesigner.eth/0x1eccd061

plus, it’d encourage more active engagement and make the platform feel less like a ghost town

yeah, it could definitely cause a stir, but maybe a cleaner, more organic feed would be worth it in the long run

I also noticed many bot-like accounts following influencers who ran several giveaway casts during the early degen airdrop stages (e.g., β€˜Follow me to win xx tokens’). This led to the creation of many alt accounts.
