Worked well enough for tweet and Twitter. More painful short-term, long term benefit to have a new word.

whats the benefit people don't even say 'tweet' so much anymore people talk about 'posting' as a cross-platform thing, and twitter isn't even twitter anymore

yeah I also feel like this trend is kind of in the past, and farcaster is not like twitter, in a way it's centralizing the language

seems like misplaced focus the 'cast' action isn't particular to farcaster in anyway, but many other very cool things are. new users should be brought in and educated on those, not asked to adopt new terms for something they do all the time elsewhere
