Crypto is global, I think, by common sense, US establishing this within it's borders for US citizens will make it worse for everyone and with that US people will have a lag on new crypto innovations happening.

Best regulation is probably education. Blockchain is a public decentralized permissionless technology where your assets are in self-custody so only you can protect it etc.

If I was a US citizen, I'd have liked to opt out of regulations if I'm taking responsibility for my actions.
