went on a hike today

few things I realized

one is that religion made humans build great things, this church and the whole central street of the city was built around 1760, lasting literally for centuries now

second is that humans built statues to have them remembered over time for future generations

now both of these things aren’t working as well today: religion isn’t driving anything lately and no one builds statues to be remembered

even though now we have technical means to build better things

lastly we have technical means to have our digital/blockchain footprint remembered intact with complete details and timestamps for literally all future generations of humans

needs a lot more work though or people will have to go through it like we go through pyramid inscriptions lmao
