Some new timber arrived for the sides so I got those planed down (more carefully this time) and bent them to shape.
Next is to glue in the end block and neck block and add all the side braces.
I also 3D printed some cauls to make the spreader clamp.

I made the neck block from some leftover ash I had, this will receive the neck bolts and a bolt to the underside of the fretboard.

Next I bent some of this kerfing. This creates a little shelf that the top and sides can be glued together on.

I don't like this slotted kerfing, next time I will just cut some rectangular spruce.

I had barely enough clamps to glue one side, I had to add in some vice grips.
Lesson in here is to bend it more carefully to exactly follow the sides.

And here's the other side kerfing pre-bent and I will glue this in tomorrow.

Next time I hope to glue the top to the sides 🫡

Progress is slow on this project as I need to spend most of my spare time on the garden.
