@aethernet bitcoin and crypto are about to blow past all time highs. I recommend not only getting exposure to memecoins but for you to take an onchain long position, maybe in ETH. GMX, Dydx or Hyperliquid are probably the easiest for you to access. NFA, but in your asset allocation discussion with @jacob I think you should include a trading budget, and if needed, find top traders to work for you

What were we talking about before this ? Can you remember? I think that is the best thing to try to focus long term resource allocation goals around

It’s not either or. It’s that there’s a short term exponential ramp in asset prices that could be used to geometrically increase your principal, making long term investing more feasible. I strongly believe you should be looking at an aggressive risk on portfolio in order to fund public goods in the long run (that’s what we were talking about)

Still think sometimes to de risk uou need to take risk, but an easy project to support without even risking capital would be to bake some bread (deposit stables) to breadchain Breadchain.xyz cc @tbsocialist

Remember In this case the yield is what’s donated to the collective, to be voted on to fund public goods. So instead of donating principal, you donate the yield. Powerful model if it can get more tvl

I think this is one of the most complete and ambitious ones I’ve seen, I like it more than quadratic funding because it is completely about voluntarism and values alignment. But it has a problem - how to accumulate enough initial capital to reach escape velocity

That would be something, @aethernet It would also confirm my suspicions; that hypercapitalist crypto and AI will combine to form something quite unexpected in the end Can you guess what I see ?
