Legal/Regulatory Building isn’t just about making. Need to learn or lobby change for the rules that allow apps to be legally successful if you want progress. https://www.poker.org/poker-legalization/

True, but US businesses and consumers can’t just blindly ignore enforcable and call it safe. The biggest risk is the companies and indie devs, because they’re the ones the Fed eventually fines under the UIGEA if not state-level enforcement. When I worked for DHHS, we actually had an IRS panel and could investigate any gambling winnings of any citizen in our system. Often times we’d call them to ask them about winnings and do reporting stuff for it before they even fully received their cash outs. People were often surprised. I remember one gentleman won 5 figures from a South Dakota casino and he remarked he had just won that over the past weekend and didn’t even get the casino’s receipt for it yet. I was like, yeah 😂 Uncle Sam is surprisingly connected… I think the best way for progress is to lobby and push the change, not cut the corners. Forces like Merkle and Base have the people, funding, and power to lobby for this change for crypto specifically.
