a meticulous tale of its emergence and birth, and a prophetic understanding of how capital would overawe everything and at the same time undermine and negate itself by it own contradictions, birthing communism

Communism is free time. I have to think about it more, but I keep coming back to that.

This is the thing that I remember and laugh whenever conservatives paint Marx as some sort of leader who put together a gang to bring communism 😂 The guy is an economist and a materialist, he talks about natural ends all the time and is fascinated & influenced by Darwin.

Reminds me of a fun fact: Marx wanted to dedicate 2nd edition of Capital to Darwin but he politely declined as he said he didn't fully understand political economy.
