one of the most important metrics are: how many people stay after bull markets end

most of the time, these people stay for one of 2 reasons:

- they are mission driven/pilled 
- they made really good friends 

both of these are emotionally driven & chains that care should optimize for that

I would struggle to just walk away and feel a lot of fomo - not necessarily on making money but on learning things and interacting.  I feel like there is something new to learn every week!
