The next step will be to smooth the terrain, compact it and level it... so that it no longer resembles a section of the Paris-Dakar rally.

Once the ground is smoothed, you can start sowing grass or lay the first strips of sod. In my case I have opted for sod, which is also an art in itself.

In fact, I am doing it with my daughters' grandparents, that is, with my parents. Instead of helping me, it looks like I'm helping them...XD

My brother and I used to help clear the debris, dig a nice pit around the plants and water it. One of our favourite activities every summer.
