The divergence signal is arguably the most misunderstood/abused signal in trading strategies. 1. Single divergence is not a strategy, divergence is just a signal. 2. The use of divergence signals needs to be combined with specific strategies. 3. It doesn’t matter that you don’t know what it stands for. The important thing is to manage the risk.
