I think bitVM βproverβ is the same as sequencer in eth terms. The prover sounds to be executing the transactions and submitting the taproot tree that is the updated state of the rollup. This feels like an optimistic validium l2 in eth terms. Data off chain, execution off chain, validum on chain.
