what is the best bridge to and from base to mainnet with the lowest fees?

if you have access, def via coinbase. Far cheaper as only paying for transfers not bridge contract interactions plus fees low to zero. Just make sure when moving out of base you choose base network when generating the coinbase deposit address

Oh so I can just send base eth to Coinbase, in so long as I choose the base eth deposit address?

yep, correct, and it’s instant and basically free. On coinbase pro when you open the deposit window for eth there is a toggle top right for the chain. I did once accidentally transfer base eth to a mainnet eth deposit address. After a heart attack it did actually appear… but would not recommend
