What are some issues on which you disagree with the "median elite Indian" perspective the most?

The median elite Indian doesn’t yet realize the extent to which quality of life has fallen in the West & risen in India. They are *just now* starting to update. That’s why seemingly anodyne threads on Bangalore v SF go so viral on Twitter.

A more interesting answer may be around the role of the Indian diaspora.

The diaspora is the Indian nation, the Indian network, but minus the Indian state.

My thinking on that is different but I think starting to gain uptake, eg:
