Making Farcaster useful Imagine each NFT community had a group of mods. And when those mods like your post, you get a custom NFT. Now each community can optimize a different metric besides popularity! For example, in a proof-of-workout community you must post workout selfies to earn workout credit NFTs. @dwr.eth @v

My mental model for NFTs is still “meant to be traded”, but this type of use case doesn’t fit that. Do you think it’s more productive to switch the tool for this kind of job to attestations or similar, or just get people comfortable with using NFTs for non-trading use cases?

These are earnable and (probably) non-transferable NFTs. Like getting an NFT for every like, retweet, and other action on social media. You will eventually have a wallet with thousands of micro-NFTs earned from crypto social media platforms. https://warpcast.com/balajis/0x266002

This is exactly how RARA’s protocol works. Mint a non-transferable NFT every time you engage with an NFT (react, comment, tag). https://docs.rara.social/major-concepts/ra-like-tokens
