i’d say 40% meant the Internet is infrastructure. 22% probably the same. 

38% meant the Internet is content, data. 

Was that the message you wanted to deliver?

Is the Internet American?

Part of the point is that this is ambiguous.
There are many interpretations.
My view is that the Internet is to America what America was to Britain.
A frontier territory that will ultimately succeed even its worthy progenitor.

Many interpretations of "Is the Internet American?"

Was the Internet born in the US? Yes.
Are US-based tech companies still big? Yes.
But do those companies mainly have US users? No.
And do tech companies mainly have US revenue? Often, no.
And do they have mainly US citizens as employees? Often, also no.

yeah it was born American to become the Earth’s we should keep in mind. It was born a technology to become the content and the way of erasing the borders through lack of transactional losses
