Having found a new love in generative art and programming again, here is a short story!
From a chance encounter with web development in 1997 to becoming a Senior Applications Developer, my journey has been all about building, learning, and creating. Here’s how it happened:
In 1997, I stumbled into a role that involved web development. What started as a lucky break quickly turned into a passion. For six years, I explored the web’s fast-changing landscape, picking up new skills and solving problems along the way.
In 2003, I took a leap and started my own web development business, which I ran for three years. It was a hands-on experience where I built custom solutions and worked closely with clients, learning as much about people as I did about technology.
By 2006, I stepped into a senior development role, creating websites and applications. This was where I really honed my skills, tackling bigger challenges and exploring what technology could do. 1 reply

In 2012, I moved into a role focused on designing solutions, writing clear specifications, and building better systems. Communication and teamwork became just as important as the code I was writing.
In 2013, I started working with Agile methods, designing and deploying new applications while always looking for ways to make systems more user-friendly, secure, and efficient.
In 2014, I took on a role that focused on improving core systems, designing software, reviewing code, and writing tests to keep things running smoothly. I stayed connected to new technology trends, always looking to improve the way we worked.
I stepped away from the world of I.T. and programming in 2016 due to burn out and health issues, it was time for a change. 1 reply
