My most spontaneous trip ever. Yesterday I had no idea I would be going anywhere, and two days later I was already in Istanbul, hiding from the police 😄.  Ultimately, I had to return and surrender to the police anyway. It would have been worse for my family if I hadn’t (the police would have cut down my mom’s door with a grinder to find me, and they could even have thrown her face to the floor).  And I wouldn’t have been able to come back if I hadn’t gone to the police and surrendered.
