Being that it is Namibia, I reckon it'd be preserved. They're more intentional with preservation than most African countries. 

I hope this particular region was kept this way. This was in 2017, so many things could have happened. But since Namibia is a bit of a different country compared to others in Africa, I hope this desert region is still intact 🙏🏼
