If you have a Farcaster app you would want people to try out and give feedback on, reply below. Bonus points if you can create a cast with the app right now.

I don’t think anyone has built one. I wonder how quickly someone could get something work with @neynar APIs

If no one has built one by Jan 1, I may take a stab at it. No offense but react native just doesn’t hit the same. I’m also an iOS dev and snob 😁

What are some examples for things native apps bring to the table you can share so we can make Warpcast better.

Sure, it’s a feeling thing. There are a set of responses and animations that feel natural because they’re so baked into iOS APIs and therefore the other native apps on your phone. React Native apps don’t have those same tactile feelings so they inherently feel different

Functionally, the apps is great! No complaints. iOS gives you so many defaults you can tweak and still get the look and feel you want while still being native. RN apps almost need to recreate everything to try to be on par, if that makes sense

Like I said before, I’m an iOS dev and a snob so much of this probably isn’t constructive (sorry!) I’d take the exact same app, built natively, and enjoy it better. But that’s just personal preference
