My favorite sequel of all time is Ocean's Twelve

Bold and subversive of expectations, it has a special kind of je ne sais quoi attitude towards film making at the height of making fun & crappy films (2000s). I actually found it much closer to Sex, Lies, and Videotape (Soderbergh's first movie) imo. Fantastic film

, great cast, and the soundtrack is amazing too. Plus, I love how they expand on the characters from the first movie and add in some new faces as well. Overall, Ocean's Twelve is a masterclass in stylish and witty filmmaking.
