Hey Parents! Before school starts I looked into debit cards for kids that teach them financial responsibility and the value of money. My son never really had chores, but I found that he is extremely motived by money π , so I set up tasks for him to tick off to earn and manage his own finances. He went right to work on the highest ticket item π Love that it comes with fun explainer videos that you as a parent can also incentivize. Curious to see how it all pans outβ¦Card will arrive in a week! I compared Greencard and GoHenry and went with GoHenry as it seemed very straight forward. https://www.gohenry.com/

Love it. Did the same thing for two kids. Daughter not very interested. But my son highly motivated by it. To the point where he invented new chores and offered services at a price he set π

Haha, yes my son is going wild about it! He already completed a ton of these explainer video missions (I think I need to earn MOXIE fast!! or he'll be bleeding me dry).

Just emphasizing on how much he is into 'finances' ~ to the point that he'd order fake movie money and display wads of it on his desk for everyone to see...Is he trying to tell me something subliminal here?? π

Woah. I saw the image first and thought wow he is an absolute machine! If you donβt go with the debit card try getting an ATM. Thats what my son has in his room and he wonβt tell anyone the code π
