BTS (Korean: 방탄소년단 Panthan Seonyeondan; Chinese: 防彈少年團 Fangdan Shaonyantuan; Japanese: 防弾少年団; Bodan Shōnaendan; also known as Bangtan Boys or Beyond The Scene) is a South Korean boy band formed in 2013 by Big Hit Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: RM (the group's leader), Chin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jongkook. In July 2017, the group changed their official logo and English translation of their name, becoming Beyond The Scene.
