President Donald Trump said that 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada will go forward as planned tomorrow, saying the two major US trading partners had “no room” left to negotiate to avoid the levies. He also doubled an additional tariff on Chinese goods to 20%. US stocks slid on investor worries about the measures.
