We’ve spent so much time rebuilding the club. Poch has put us in a position to keep getting better. Poch almost made Europa League. Maresca is meant to build on that momentum. This is Chelsea, we shouldn’t spend 6 years straight as a nonentity.

things don't work like that. you kicked poch out just as his style was beginning to yield fruit and brought in a new manager with a completely different vision for the club. that's going to take some time to cement.

He has a sizeable team to work with. No one wants him to win the league now, you have to at least finish top four in a season that Forrest will probably finish in it. No excuse.

No. But they are in a similar case. New owner bought a number of players and new coach is getting them to work. Maresca is bottling the season by December. If he had not started the season well, I wouldn't be concerned. Look at the sheer number of points he has thrown away in the last 5 games because he doesn't know what to do anymore.
