It's not necessary just hold them to get $senpi you can also visit betashop profile to get more info. Mine are also locked in the form of fan tokens. But, dev only mentioned by holding them (locked/not swapping) you will get $senpi

I’m not up on the swap. Does it account for locked ? 

VVV had that big airdrop that didn’t account for anything locked I think.
