Have you ever stood your ground against your bully boss or coworker, got mad and forced them to apologize to you because they rely on you? Wild day bros. There is something to be said about demonstrating to others you are not to be fucked with lightly.

Sure, but I know my rights and know what I do every day at work. I'm a good, honest worker who otherwise is cheery and helpful but when I'm pushed into a corner in a place I think of as a second home, the freaked out shellshocked man is going to come out and try to plant his feet or flee just out of scared instinct. I need the job, probably the only one that will hire me that I would do and mostly like so I'm sad/angry and want to make my case to be treated better. It didn't come out the way I wanted it too but I tried and said what I had to say

This sh*t scares me a lot. Bcz I'm going to do my first ever internship in life in bank in July. We all deserve fair, respectful workplace....

You grow over time with different jobs and people you interact with and you have to learn how to grow a spine/voice. It's been very hard for me to do that in my life and I'm not a kid anymore even. Only advice is try not to lose your cool/get too angry because then you lose respect and even ground. I lost my cool today but my boss called me to apologize after work so it will be a hard next 8 days working straight but it is what it is, I have to learn how to cope or just give up which I've done before but that has never felt good either. 🤷‍♀️
