i'd say i'm probably against the crypto reserve even if i'm happy to benefit from it

like why should the US government purchase these coins? any answer for where the money comes from is also not really enjoyable

the us gov is definitely trying to set an example here that will likely be followed by many other countries before the full-blown adoption; that also gives another way to look at crypto beyond gambling stuff

a strategic reserve for apple, google, facebook, tesla, nvidia, et al, wouldn't have invited such scepticism today, but you can't say the same thing if this was done during the early-internet era when such companies were trying to find a footing when the entire media was busy writing them off
