i remember having the public/private likes convo with @dwr.eth when warpcast was rolling out the “likes” tab on the profile. he said it was a discovery tool. i said it was a cancellation tool. we all know how every debate with @dwr.eth ends. interesting X will now move them private. thoughts?

bad move — likes help you stay away from echo chambers, leave you with better discoverability which otherwise you have missed out on hiding likes will force people to post more — content will become repetitive while showing likes was low effort, engagement-driven hook
