Last month, I parted ways with a long-time co-founder and friend. 

This was the hardest thing I've gone through in my professional life.

this is a great thread; having gone through the same once, i can say that not only do years of effort and planning go in vain, but it also ruins the years of friendship

i spoke to him only once since we called off the partnership, it's been years now, and during the entire conversation, we didn't even mention the name of the project once we worked on for years

i still own the domain and have those 25+ docs, financials, decks, canvas, roadmaps, logos — now nothing but memories
