Supporters of cryptocurrencies often talk about them as a means to help overthrow the centralized monetary system. However, it seems that the situation is such that we will be hundreds of years behind the implementation of such a concept. The current problem is the widespread acceptance of cryptocurrencies, which can only be achieved in close connection with centralized institutions such as government and regulators. And therefore, it is safe to say that centralization is inevitable in the cryptocurrency space – at least for now.
