I just claimed my $hunt tipper grant! :) I am so confused. How do I use my 100 hunt to increase my tipping amount?

Base token? NO it’s Hunt on ETH mainnet. A building costs 1,000 Hunt on ETH mainnet. A mini building costs just 100 Hunt on Base L2 network. But this txn is not that. The version 1 frame uses eth on Base, converts it to hunt then buys the NFT. So why the F*** did I waste time and fees buying Hunt in Base? I just converted my Hunt back to eth on both L1 and L2. So damn confusing!!!

I’ve been refreshing this damn frame every 10 seconds for the past 5 minutes. WTH?! It looks like the mini building I was attempting to buy cost me L1 ETH? I thought it was paid for in L2 Base eth?!

Don’t tell a customer an item costs $100 and then charge them £20 that has to be converted to €20 and then deliver the item with a $100 price tag on it.

gm gm, It looks like it’s been a tough journey, sorry to hear about the complications with minting the NFT. Just to give a bit of context. $HUNT originally launched on Ethereum, and the first Building NFT was deployed there. However, due to high gas fees at the time, it became costly for users to mint. To make things more accessible, we bridged $HUNT to @base last year and expanded the ecosystem, including the launch of the Mini Building NFT on Base. Now, there are two versions of the Building NFT - Building NFT on Ethereum - Mini Building on Base. Regarding the “Base Token” label, it doesn't refer to the $HUNT on Base. It actually means the "base currency" used for minting. You can mint using $HUNT, $ETH, $USDC, and other supported tokens. We’ll work on making this clearer in the UI, and of course, we're always here to support you if anything is confusing. 15000 $hunt

Thank you for the history of the token and the mechanics. Can you see where my $24.50 in ETH ended up? It interacted with a contract but I can’t tell what I received for it? I tried and failed to purchase the mini building with Hunt on Base. Then I converted my Hunt back to ETH on Base but that didn’t work either. It appears that I initiated a txn to buy a mini building using L1 ETH? This was using the v1 FC frame. I kept refreshing but nothing came of it. Thanks in advance.
