I made it through my first day back at work. So happy to be back in my classroom.

All of my students have specific disabilities that requires deep relationships to make accommodations. Time away during the school year is emotionally and transactionally expensive. Coming back always requires an adjustment.

It was all totally worth it!

I got to spend copious hours of exclusive adult conversation time. Not a single one of you dumped water on my laptop and office chair. No one replied to my requests with punctuated bursts of flatulence. Those in my company spoke using only kind, appropriate words. 

We are all of us one of ones. Our top tier utility is the time we spend with each another. I am grateful to have swapped my tokens with you all.
