It seems like everyone is starting to hate L2 solutions because they can’t retain liquidity, it just moves from one to another, jumping from launch to launch
It all comes down to attention. Attention = liquidity & product relevance
A product doesn’t need to hold your attention forever, it just needs to provide value to the ecosystem beyond just technical improvements
Who cares about high TPS if you can only use 2 or 3 dApps on a chain, while everything is already available on Ethereum, Base, and Solana?
Projects need to stand out with unique features
Base became the best Ethereum L2 by supporting the community and builders, offering low gas fees, high TPS, and strong technical infrastructure
Why not Sui, Starknet, zkSync, or Mode?
They also tried to attract builders, but it mostly turned into “build to get a grant” events. Once those ended, the ecosystems became inactive
