When U.S. start cut interest rates, a market crash or correction does not automatically follow... If we exclude the two crises in 2001 (bursting of the dot-com bubble) and 2007 (financial crisis), the S&P 500 usually performed very well after the first interest rate cut. The chart shows how the S&P 500 behaved in the 12 months after the US rate cut.
